Our school system is rich in history and has had a tradition of excellence since 1968, when it was established as a ministry of Hyde Park Baptist Church. The mission of Hyde Park Baptist Schools is to minister to the whole student and their families through Christian education. The school was built on a foundation of strong Christian values. If we truly seek to achieve excellence in education, we must include the most essential ingredient, God’s wisdom. We seek to build the strong Christian leaders our society needs, leaders who will excel academically, as well as socially, and will confidently fulfill the Great Commission of sharing Jesus Christ with others.
Hyde Park Baptist Schools has rigorous and well-developed academic programs for Bridging-Kindergarten through 12th grade. Because of its accreditation with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, which is recognized by the Texas Education Agency, Hyde Park Baptist School System's curriculum goes well above the state and national standards for high achieving exemplary schools.
We are excited about what God has in store for Hyde Park Baptist Schools in the future as we continue to seek to glorify the Lord in Christian education.
