Welcome to Our Library!

The Hyde Park Baptist Elementary Library serves over 300 students in grades K-6. Parents are welcome to check out materials for their children as well as themselves utilizing the adult collection. We also provide inter-library loans for grades 7-12. Our collection consists of over 11,000 books and audio visual resources which cover a wide variety of subjects.

Our library is open daily for library instruction, research, reading, word processing, and checking out books. The library has an open schedule for students to come and use the resources availablein the library as often as needed. 

Seven computers are available to students in grades K-6 for Internet access and  for students in grades 2-6 to  take Accelerated Reader Tests.

The library is open the following times:

7:30-8:05 AM Monday-Friday (Open for Accelerated Reader Testing and book check out only.)

8:05 AM-3:00 PM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (All resources available.)

8:05 AM-1:00PM Wednesday (All resources available.)

3:00-3:30 PM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (Open for Accelerated Reader Testing and book check out only.)

The library is closed every Wednesday between 1:00 and 4:30 PM.
