Hyde Park Elementary and Middle School students had an outstanding weekend at the PSIA (Private Schools Interscholastic Association) competition this weekend in Austin! The PSIA competition includes a wide spectrum of advanced curricula events in mathematics, science, social studies, reading, speaking, music, art and more! Hyde Park students competed with students from seven private schools from the Austin/San Antonio region. Forty Hyde Park Elementary students (1st through 5th grade) participated in fifty-three events. With outstanding results, twenty HP Elementary students placed in 1st through 6th place in twenty-two events.
