TOUCH A LIFE ANNUAL FUND
IN A WORLD FULL OF WORTHY CAUSES, CONSIDER THE MINISTRY OF HYDE PARK BAPTIST SCHOOLS… A MISSION FIELD IN YOUR OWN BACK YARD.
Be a part of a ministry that touches individual lives…
Minister through continued excellence.
Unrestricted
Unrestricted giving provides the greatest flexibility to the school system to put the funds to good use. Examples could include technology, furniture, fixtures & equipment, enrichment or whatever the area of greatest need or priority is, as determined by the Board and Administration.
Minister to school families.
It is our desire to help qualified families with tuition assistance where possible, and to provide aid to our school families that are going through financial difficulties, so that their children may remain enrolled at HPBS. Money raised may go toward immediate needs or to the Financial Aid Endowment Fund providing assistance year after year as it grows.
Minister to faculty & staff.
Money raised may be used for immediate faculty and staff initiatives like workshops, seminars and other staff development programs or it may be added to the Teachers' Endowment Fund with the interest available annually for teachers’ use.
Endowments
The gift that keeps on giving…
HPBS is a school rich in history but it cannot rest on its laurels. We must look toward the future so that we can continue to provide excellence in Christian education to the Austin community for generations to come. It takes $10,000 to start an endowment. Once established, contributions to increase the principal can be made by anyone at any amount. The funds are invested and the interest is available annually for use, providing long term funding year after year.
• The Teachers’ Endowment Fund was established by Jan and Jared Stallones who taught at HPBS in the 1980’s and 1990’s.
• The new Financial Aid Endowment was started in 2009 by an anonymous donor.
Consider leaving a legacy with a one time gift or multi-year pledge to one of these endowments.
Gift Levels:
Conqueror ... $10,000+
Warrior ...$5,000 - $9,999
Sustainer ...$1,000 - $4,999

All gifts are tax-deductible with tax receipts provided in the first quarter of each year.

STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS AND DEPARTMENTAL GIFTS
Departmental gifts of any amount are greatly appreciated. Funds for the maintenance and endowment of departmental (ex: Fine Arts, Science, etc., ) or athletic programs (ex: Cheerleaders, Volleyball) may be solicited and accepted to the extent that such funds will help support established school priorities.

1968 SOCIETY
Recognizing that some donors to HPBS give to many areas including departmental gifts, capital campaigns, scholarships and the Annual Fund, we would like to honor those donors whose consistent generosity inspires Hyde Park to reach even greater levels of excellence. All donors whose cumulative gifts total at least $1,000 in a fiscal year (August 1-July 31) will be recognized as members of 1968 Society and listed in publications and on the school’s donor wall.
